This is the second of my “hattrick day”.
I hiked approximately 45 minutes from the trailhead mentioned in the previous account. The benchmark was set into a rock near one of the last turns in the trail before reaching the Panther Creek trailhead.
Because of its exposed, visible location on a natural resting place, the marker has suffered unspeakable abuse from the uncaring public (curses upon them !) [image] [image]. These photos were taken approximately 1715 EDT (2115Z).
